Hello my ladies and Happy New Year filled with love, laughter and glamour! I had a really nice, relaxing Holiday season. I was surrounded by family members that I hadn’t seen for a long time, my husband and my kids. That alone was enough for me. So about the food situation during that time…well, we didn’t cut back on the fun. That’s all I can tell you! We ate and ate and ate again. Isn’t that what Christmas is all about?
Now comes the time of the year where everyone is busy figuring a big new year’s resolution out. Whether it be to try to lose weight, to try to stop smoking or to try to spend more time with friends/family/children, we all come up with something that we’re supposed to keep up with during the whole year, to make our lives better. Right? Funny thing is, I never ever formulated a new year’s resolution. I never did, I guess because I never wanted to have anything stressing me out all year long!
Well, I don’t know why, but this year is different. I made a resolution that I intend to keep. I’ll be keeping up with my passion by pushing this blog as far as it can take me and live it to the fullest. After all, what bad can happen from it? It’s all fun and a rush of love every time I know that I was able to help someone, feel good about themselves though fashion or beauty.
This white dress with large pink dots is not exactly what I would call winter-appropriate, but the dress and the setting represent the way that I’m feeling right now: relaxed, serene and confident in the future. I feel relaxed and ready to take on the challenges that the year will bring. Pink is a color that I like . I call it my “safe color”: easy to wear and easier to match. Let’s remain positive. My biggest advice is to always act out of love no matter the situation in which we are.
