Hello my beautiful ladies! I haven’t forgotten about you, I’ve just been extremely busy these days and, I guess, unable to keep up my growing 2 year-old twins. What I love about this blog though is that no matter how busy I get, I can’t help but always come back to it, just for the pleasure of sharing my favorite looks with you. Today we’re taking a look at the bomber jacket.
The African print bomber jacket has become quite THE item to have for all my Afronistas (the word is not mine!) out there. A lot of afro brands carry the Ankara bomber jacket but I decided to go with one of my favorite Canadian brands: Öfuurë. By the way, I got the jacket online and the whole shopping experience was a delight: great communication, fast shipping and quality clothes. One of the great features of this jacket is that it’s completely reversible. The black interior can be worn outside with snippets of the Ankara when the jacket is open. Absolutely beautiful!
With this look I achieved a hybrid kind of look with sport and classy items. The pair of shoes itself mixes the 2 styles and the dress, which I’ve worn in a more traditional way before – with high heels and a clutch – brings that more classy twist to the outfit.
I’ll definitely wear the jacket again with a pair of jeans, sneakers, and a crossbody bag. Are you with me on this look?
